2019 Season With Jess Lindsay
This season has been a busy one with 2 extra horses (Chico and Tutti) out competing. My main horse (Hector) has been out for most of the season after sustaining an injury in the trailer the day before he was meant to do his second event! He’s made a speedy recovery however and he’s off to his second event this Friday at Monmouth.
Bruno stepped up to fill hectors hooves so to speak and he’s had a pretty good year finding his feet at novice and then recently stepping up to his first intermediate last week which went really well. He’s got 2 more intermediate runs left at Dauntsey and Bicton.
Bruno will have a mini holiday once he’s finished and then the winter will be filled with lots of dressage and SJ training and competitions. Hector will be doing the same.
Next season my aim with Bruno is to get him established at intermediate, complete a 2* with the aim of a 3* later in the season.
Hector will probably do a couple of novices to get him back in the swing of things before moving back up to intermediate again.
Obviously my favourite Hardy ETC product has been my cross country colours this year. They’re so bright and eye catching and I get comments on them all the time! Second to that would have to be the riding leggings which I wear all the time not just to ride in as they’re so stylish and comfortable!
