My name is Katie Hughes and I am super excited to have been chosen to represent HardyEtc as a sponsored rider. I am 15 years old and have been riding since I was 6. Horses are my first passion but I am hoping after my GCSE’s and A-Levels to go on to be a Commercial Airline Pilot... who knows this may also lead to flying horses all around the world!! 

Darifa (Stable name Darcie) & I have been together since June this year and already she has settled well into her new life at Jill Holt Equestrian Centre, in Wiltshire. 

We have already qualified & competed at the British Riding Club Championships in Showjumping & Dressage and managed to bring home a selection of Rosettes. 

Up until now Darcie has been a Show jumper and I hope to add to her skills for 2019 and venture into the world of Eventing. We have been working hard teaching her Dressage and we have had some fun schooling around Cross Country throughout the Summer. I aim to start her at BE90 and move up to BE100 throughout next season. I would love to qualify for Badminton Grassroots. 

Darcie is a beautiful horse both inside and out and thanks to my Parents (who give up a huge amount of their time and money) I am very lucky to own her. Darcie likes a camera and hopefully through photos and vlogs I will be able to show you some of her poses and quirky faces
